Shopify conversion rate optimisation, measured against your real orders
We find where your Shopify store loses sales, build the fixes in your theme ourselves, and A/B test them where your traffic allows. Every result is measured against your Shopify orders, not an analytics estimate.

What a Shopify CRO audit looks at
Research first, so every change has a reason behind it.
Analytics you can trust
We check your tracking first. GA4 often counts sessions differently from Shopify, which can double a conversion rate on paper, so every number we report is measured against your Shopify orders.Where shoppers drop out
The path from landing page to collection, product, basket and checkout, by device and traffic source, to find the steps losing the most sales. What shoppers actually do
Heatmaps and session recordings, using Microsoft Clarity, which is free, to see where people hesitate, rage-click or give up.Product and collection pages
Images, filters, delivery and returns information, reviews, sizing and the add-to-cart area: the things that decide whether someone buys.Basket and checkout
Delivery costs and dates, payment options, trust signals and anything that adds a surprise late in the process.Speed
How fast key pages load on a phone, and which apps or theme code slow them down.
A/B testing, or changes measured before and after
A/B testing needs traffic. We’ll tell you honestly which route suits your store before you spend anything.
Around 30,000+ sessions or 300+ orders a month
A/B testing
Enough traffic to test changes against the current version and get a reliable answer in a few weeks. We run tests with a Shopify testing tool such as Intelligems or Shoplift, which you subscribe to directly.Below that
Research-led changes, measured before and after
Tests would take months to reach a reliable result, so we make the changes the research points to and compare the weeks before and after. We say plainly which kind of result you're looking at.

Frequently asked questions
What is Shopify CRO?
Conversion rate optimisation is improving how many visitors to your Shopify store go on to buy, and how much they spend. It means finding where shoppers drop out, working out why, changing the store, and measuring whether the change worked.
How much does Shopify CRO cost?
A CRO audit is £995 as a one-off. Monthly CRO starts from £1,250 a month, covering research, building changes in your theme, A/B tests where your traffic allows, and a monthly report. If you use an A/B testing tool, you pay its subscription directly. Every price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Do we have enough traffic for A/B testing?
As a rough guide, A/B testing works well from around 30,000 sessions or 300 orders a month. Below that, tests take too long to give a reliable answer, so we make research-led changes and compare results before and after. We'll tell you which applies to your store before you commit.
How long until we see results?
Quick fixes found in the audit, such as a confusing delivery message or a slow page, can be live within days. A/B tests usually run for two to four weeks each to reach a reliable result.
Do you guarantee a conversion uplift?
No, and we'd be wary of anyone who does. We guarantee the work: thorough research, changes built properly, and honest reporting against your Shopify orders, including tests that didn't win.
Why measure against Shopify orders rather than GA4?
GA4 and Shopify often count sessions differently, and GA4 can miss orders when cookies are declined. That can make a conversion rate look twice as good, or a test look like a winner when it isn't. Shopify's orders are the number that matches your bank account.
Will you change our theme?
Yes, that's the point. Most CRO agencies hand over a list of recommendations for someone else to build. We build the changes in your theme ourselves, on a copy first, and publish only with your go-ahead.
